The Lone Star Cowboy Hat & A Shoot Day 📸

It’s 2026!

A new year and exciting times ahead. 

In December, we launched the long awaited Lone Star cowboy hat. I have wanted to launch a cowboy hat since before the brand was finalized. Growing up visiting my Dad in Texas, I have always loved the culture and especially cowboy hats and boots of course! 

I really wanted this hat to be incredible quality, a beautiful shape and the perfect shade of brown. It took over a year to get just right but it happened and I am so proud of how it turned out!

Everything I do with the brand is intentional, I knew before I launched the brown suede Bandera boots that I was going to be launching a deep, chocolate brown hat. The dream duo!

And of course with a new launch comes a photoshoot day, and we all know I love a shoot day!

I am very lucky to have a small group of amazing people who I can trust on shoot days to create magic. Including beautiful Mikala who just nails it every time. 

We have also been incredibly lucky to include to dreamiest 1980s F150 truck in our shoots which just adds to the autumnal colour palette I really wanted to achieve in this shoot. 

I always plan the outfits head to toe ahead of the shoots, to give the shoot a basis of what I want it to look like in my head. 

I hope you enjoy seeing an insight into a small part of what goes into making the brand, I put my heart and soul into every aspect of the brand and I can’t wait to show you what’s to come this year.
