Where Did It All Begin?
Well, The Lucky Cowgirl Club has lived in my head for a long time, I was just unsure of how it would all look and bringing it all together.
It never felt like the right time to start my own line but it has always been the dream. And then I created a western style outfit (pink and red of course) for Nastygal, I adore the design process and I was so surprised that outfit sold out super quick and something just clicked for me.
As I have been visiting family in Texas and seeing America for almost 20 years, western style and cowboy boots have always fascinated me. And if you can’t find something you love, why not create your own?
2024 was the year I decided to fully jump into creating my dream brand, but what is a brand without the perfect identity?
That was where Amber from Ambacabranda came in, not only one of my best friends but an incredibly talented graphic designer and illustrator.
We had an initial meeting in her beautiful pink studio where we chatted through all my initial ideas and we were bouncing off different themes. I had an idea of what I wanted it to look like, and knew I wanted pink and red but Amber’s creativity really brought it to life and truly created the branding of my dreams.
Once we put our heads together and created the main story, the vision came to life!
I’ve always loved old American motel signs so we really ran with this, at this point I already knew that I wanted to name the boots after American cities too, so I asked Amber to create the artwork for the postcards that come with every pair of boots!
And, well as they say, the rest is history!
I have my dream brand that I absolutely adore, so much love and hard work has gone into every aspect of The Lucky Cowgirl Club and I cannot wait to show you what’s to come next year!
Thank you as always, Jess 🫶🏻
